In the world of the internet, and social media there are millions of links sent around every day so it can be hard to keep up with all of the different websites that are out there. Here are a few suggestions from BACHA of great links to checkout.

This is a great site that features blog posts, live streaming video, streaming video archives and multiple articles on everything from student ethics to streaming live music performances for students. It is a great site to stay up to date on everything tech going on in the world of Student Affairs and Higher Education. Always an interesting site to browse.
Cronk News – “Smart News from the Ivory Tower” - http://www.cronknews.com/
If you’ve never been to Cronk News it is definitely worth taking a look at on some quiet afternoon and definitely worth a few laughs! This is “The Onion” Of higher education. All fake news stories that take often play on some of the challenges in higher education that we often face. You should take the articles with a grain of salt as they have a biting and entertaining wit and leave no area of higher education safe from Onion like articles. For example – an August 11, 2011 article is about an RA who wants to re-negotiate his RA contract or he will leave for the Orientation staff…definitely worth a read….http://www.cronknews.com/2011/08/11/ra-continues-training-camp-hold-out/
The Chronicle of Higher Education - http://chronicle.com/
After you’ve had a few laughs over at Cronk news it might be time for some real news. The Chronicle is a great source for current events and interesting articles about the world of Higher Education today. A bit more on the serious and factual side than Cronk – but definitely still a good read.
